Simple Stacking Rings This workshop is somewhere in-between the simple/single ring and stacking rings class with design options being simplified. It is perfect if you have never worked with metal and want to try a short taster workshop that isn't too challenging. The idea is to keep it simple with the design, so that you can repeat the process a few times which helps with the learning process. We will be using 1.5 mm round wire for all rings made and we will begin by making 1 silver ring that you can choose to add some texture to or leave it plain if you prefer. You will then make 2 further rings in a similar design but you can make your stack of 3 silver rings look a little different by adding texture to 1 or more with a hammer or by adding a wave design. There are a few different wave designs to choose from and you can wave 2 rings and leave one round if you want or vice versa or make all 3 the same. (please note, no other wire options are available for the session such as beaded wire, twisted or any of the other fancier design options shown for other workshops) There will be a short 30 minute break for lunch during this session so I would recommend bringing food with you.
